Iran's Top Cleric: Iran Will Maintain Strait of Hormuz with Authority Until Final Victory

The Leader's representative in Iran's southern Bushehr province has issued a stark warning to the United States, declaring that the Islamic Republic will maintain full control over the strategic Strait of Hormuz with unwavering authority until the realization of ultimate victory.

Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Gholam Ali Safaei Bushehri, who also serves as a member of the Assembly of Experts, made the remarks during a massive public gathering in Bushehr honoring the martyrdom of Resistance commander Seyyed Mohammad Reza Mousavi and renewing allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

'America Begging Others to Open the Strait'

Addressing the crowd, the senior cleric highlighted the shifting balance of power in the region, asserting that the United States—once a self-proclaimed superpower—now finds itself humbled and helpless before the will of the Iranian nation.

"Today, America has stretched out its begging hand to other countries to open the Strait of Hormuz, seeking their help," Safaei Bushehri declared. "But Iran will maintain the Strait of Hormuz with authority until final victory is achieved."

He emphasized that the Islamic Republic's decisive role in political, military, and economic affairs has fundamentally altered global equations, with Iran now positioned as the defining force in the region and the future of the global economy.

A Warning to 'Homeland-Sellers'

The Friday Imam of Bushehr also issued a stern warning to those he described as "homeland-sellers" who, under various pretexts, write in support of the United States and the Zionist regime.

"Be careful!" he cautioned. "The people of Iran will not forget these acts of treason. Today, we remain silent due to military and political considerations, but we stand fully behind the Armed Forces and the Resistance front."

'We Are Not the People of Kufa'

Safaei Bushehri praised the unparalleled spirit of the Iranian people, noting that despite being under threat from major powers, the nation shows no fear but instead courageously takes to the field to defend the Revolution and the homeland.

He lauded the people of Bushehr as exemplars of loyalty to the cause of the Leader and the martyrs, highlighting their chants of "Allahu Akbar" and the powerful slogan:
"We are not the people of Kufa; the Leader will not be left alone."

The reference to Kufa—a historical city whose inhabitants famously failed to support Imam Ali (PBUH)—served as a resounding pledge of unwavering loyalty to the Islamic Revolution and its leadership in the face of external threats and internal subversion.
